Kostya Lyakhov and Daniil Lyakh, creative specialists from Ukraine, along with their colleagues Sam Cable and Kate Harrison have designed the world’s first educational establishment, training students in adverting sector in the online mode. The project is called Bot Ad School (BAS); it operates on Facebook Messenger.
creators offer everyone interested seven educational programs. They can be chosen according to skills of a certain student and their location. The college provides information and experience obtained by winners of international advertising festivals. BAS students learn how to create a portfolio and develop websites. They also take the course on student advertising festivals as well as discover how to choose an advertising agency for a fieldwork in a proper way and what should be taken into account in the working process.
Lyakh, the thought leader of the project, says that he has come up with BAS in order to help students. Joining the advertising sector, he had to look for and explore information on his own, which required lots of time and was lack of any system.
“Therefore, I have decided that it would be great to collect all required information in a single place and to allow everyone to create high-quality advertising,” he said.
According to developers, BAS is primarily aimed at making advertising education more available for young people from regions without an opportunity to study in advertising schools.
BAS exists in seven territorial versions: American, Asian, European, as well as for Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
