Facebook presented a new feature for advertisers - instream format both inside the social network itself and on the Facebook Audience Network.
From now on, advertising in the new silent format will be shown in videos that users watch.
According to the platform, users do not interrupt viewing over 70% of such videos, if they last 15 seconds or less.
Advertisers are offered several options for displaying their content:
1. Mid-roll videos in Facebook live streams.
2. Pre- or mid-roll video on the Audience Network platform.
Instream format is a video (usually, an ad) with a 15-20 seconds duration, which is played in videos of a partner.
